Supporting Tasks:

Technical Skills Required:
3-6 years’ experience within an Artwork, Print, Design, or Digital agency in Production roles.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver.
Proficiency in implementing and maintaining Brand guidelines.
In-depth understanding of artwork processes and print production limitations.
Advanced knowledge of print production processes.
Extensive experience collaborating with Designers to achieve design objectives.

Advanced knowledge of file formats, color modes, and resolution for various media types.

Duties and responsibilities

· Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions, specifications, workflow diagrams, and SOPs
· Responsible for ensuring that all artworks are saved in designated file locations on the server with the appropriate document control file naming specifications

Position Summary
As part of our Production team, we are looking for a Studio Manager (packaging artwork production) based in Paris for one the highest profile Pharma/Cosmetics brand.
This role is critical in ensuring the delivery of the artworks, maintaining compliance, guidelines and printers' specifications.

Essential Responsibilities and Accountabilities
· Managing and coordinating a team of 4 to 6 artworks
· Developing complex packaging artworks
· Participating in briefing and internal technical meetings, pack development and working with other stakeholders in the graphic chain (agencies, printers ...);
· Handling and managing the creation and production of the execution of the packaging including masters, as well as quality control
· Implementing applicable standards, guidelines and printers' specifications
· Preparing production files which will also be produced by the studio in the back office (adaptations from masters, complex documents and / or large volumes);
· Monitoring the production
· Ensuring quality and meeting deadlines;
· Ensuring consistency on product ranges for each brand
· Participating in technical meetings with customers and suppliers (printers and photoengravers);
· Participating in the definition and implementation of internal graphic charts / guidelines

Educational & Experience Minimum Requirements
- Higher education in graphic arts,
- You have at least 7 years of experience in a senior artwork specialist or studio manager position
- You have excellent relationship skills and a strong culture of customer service.
- You have very good technical skills, you master the graphic packaging chain
- You like working on a team and have good interpersonal skills.
- You are organized, rigorous and proactive.
- Excellent knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop required.
- Proficient in Office Pack, knowledge of Indesign preferred
- Proficient in English & French
- Proficient in photomontage and color retouching
- Good knowledge of photoengraving would be a plus

Hybrid work arrangement - 2 days a week working from office (after initial training)
